CBSE Class 12 topper opts for Political Science

New Delhi, 26 June, 2017: Raksha Gopal, who topped the CBSE Class 12 exams in the country this year, has taken admission in Lady Shri Ram College as a Political Science student.

Her best-four, which included scores of English, Economics, History and Political Science, was 99.75%.

Raksha, a student of Amity International School, Noida, is a keyboard player and a voracious reader who is currently learning French.

She has completed five levels in electric keyboard from a Delhi based institute affiliated with Trinity College of Music, London and she has also completed C1 grade in French from Alliance Francaise.

Raksha has scored 100 in three subjects — English core, political science and economics — and also managed to score 99 in two subjects — psychology and history. Her father, Gopal Srinivasan (52), works as chief finance officer in Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation.

Interestingly, Raksha did not take any tuitions for her board exams.
